Shaquita Andrews- Higgins is a Licensed Clinical Counselor Associate in Lexington, KY.  Shaquita received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kentucky in 2011. In addition, she obtained her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling with a specialization in Addiction Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands in 2016. 

Shaquita began her counseling career as an Outpatient Clinician in a Community Mental Health Center and went on to work in a Medication for Opioid Use Disorder treatment center as an Addiction Counselor where she provided therapy and counseling services to individuals presenting with a history of substance use. 

Shaquita has over 7 years of experience as a clinician and specializes in adult substance use treatment. She provides support to promote positive change within the individuals she serves through a Person-Centered approach.
